OneTouch VerioIQ^® – Error 2

Error 2:
 

• What it means:
  • Error message could be caused either by a used test strip or a problem with the meter.
  • Error 2.1 can be caused by inserting a test strip which has already been used.
  • Error 2.2 can be caused by the test strips being stored incorrectly.

• What to do:
  • Check test strip port for contamination. Confirm if any control solution or blood have gone inside the test strip port.
  • Repeat the test with a new test strip; see blood application or control solution testing . See articles:

Troubleshooting:

• The OneTouch Verio IQ^® Meter displays messages when there are problems with the test strip, with the meter, or when your glucose levels are above 600 mg/dL or below 20 mg/dL. Improper use may cause an inaccurate result without producing an error message.

• Note: If the meter is on but does not operate (locks up), contact OneTouch^® Customer Care.
