Error 1:

 

  • What it means:
    • There is a problem with the meter.
  • What to do:
    • Remove the batteries.
    • Press the Power or Ok button for 3 seconds.
    • Reseat the batteries.
    • Turn meter back on normally (with strip or Power button).
    • Note:
      • If there are no buttons, remove the batteries for at least 10 seconds and then reseat them.
  Troubleshooting:
  • The OneTouch Verio® Meter displays messages when there are problems with the test strip, with the meter or when your glucose levels are above 600 mg/dL or below 20 mg/dL. Improper use may cause an inaccurate result without producing an error message.
  • Note: If the meter is on but does not operate (locks-up), contact OneTouch® Customer Care.
