​​​​​​Error Warning Low Glucose:

 

  • What it means:
    • You may have a very low blood glucose level (severe hypoglycemia), lower than 20 mg/dL.
  • What to do:
    • This may require immediate treatment according to your health care professional’s recommendations.
    • Although this message could be due to a test error, it is safer to treat first and then do another test.
Troubleshooting:
  • The OneTouch® Ultra® 2 Meter displays messages when there are problems with the test strip, with the meter, or when your blood glucose levels are higher than 600 mg/dL or lower than 20 mg/dL. Messages do not appear in all cases when a problem has occurred. Improper use may cause an inaccurate result without producing an error message.
