Tips for dental care

Manage your blood glucose levels to ensure that your gums and teeth stay healthy.

To keep your teeth and gums healthy:

  • Brush your teeth at least twice a day.
  • Floss your teeth daily.
  • Look for signs of dental problems like sore, swollen or red gums that bleed when you brush your teeth, and shrinking gums.
  • Remove and clean dentures daily.
  • Have a dental check-up every six months.
