One Touch Network Considerations

Satellite
For large numbers of geographically dispersed locations, satellite remains the most cost effective and scalable means to deliver high quality, video-based distance learning and communications programs. Presenter video, audio and data are delivered over the satellite network while return audio and data from the remote classrooms utilize an Internet or LAN/WAN connection.

Videoconferencing
For smaller deployments, a videoconferencing network is an excellent alternative. The videoconferencing network transports the high quality, two-way video and audio between the various endpoints. Data transfer between the One Touch Site Controller and the centrally located Presentation Server uses the same network.
